Damn, even if you don't miss the 90s, it's just a good game. Mostly in terms of game mechanics like limited inventory space and better movement system overall. The game does have differences with the original, I've heard, but I can't say exactly since I'm not familiar with the latter.

I find the art-style very interesting, with its high saturation and a low res texture effect, plus added lighting, you can even tell the intented mix of time periods in the graphics, which I found great. So now we are back with the remake and we have the best of the old and the new, some frustrations included! (lol) But I wouldn't want it any other way I feel like I'm playing a brand new game, but I'm back in 1994 at the same time. A lot of people (myself included) might find a bunch of its mechanics quite outdated by now, but at the same time you can't disagree it was innovating in the genre.
